Attendance
To Report an Absence
Parents/guardians may call the attendance office at (619) 628-5715 to report an absence.
If no one answers, please leave a voicemail message providing:
(1) your name and relationship to the student;
(2) your student’s name and date of birth;
(3) a reason for the absence;
(4) the date(s) of the absence(s) being reported.
Alternatively, parents/guardians may email the Attendance Technician at david.delrio@sweetwaterschools.org. Attach all relevant documents to excuse the absent date(s) in question.
Important: Both excused and unexcused absences contribute toward your student becoming chronically absent.
To Request an Early Release/Off-Campus Pass
If your student must leave early during the school day, an adult who is an emergency contact for your student must request an off-campus pass from the school.
Additionally, your student MUST be picked up by an adult who meets the following criteria:

Is listed as an emergency contact in your student’s school profile.

Arrives in person to pick up the student.

Presents a valid state ID.

Infinite Campus is the website where SUHSD teachers take attendance daily. All parents and students have their own user account on the Infinite Campus Portal. The following links are log-in instructions for checking your student's attendance for the year.
